According to a new study, Americans aren’t nearly as slang smart as they want to appear to be. After talking to 2,000 people, the survey found:

  • One-fifth of Americans use “slang” in every conversation.
  • Half of us use slang terms…even when we don’t know what they mean.
  • The most well-known slang terms are “ghosted,” “salty,” and “on point.”
  • 58% don’t know what “the Rona” means.

As far as the most “annoying” terms, the frontrunners are “Ok boomer,” “Bae,” “Bye, Felicia,” “on fleek,” and “woke.” For more info, click here
