This, after a new contract agreement was reached between the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees International and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. The agreement, which was announced Saturday, runs for three years.
It includes retroactive wage increases, daily rest periods of ten hours without exclusion, weekend rests of 54 hours, and the adoption of initiatives for diversity, equity and inclusion.
One of the biggest issues hammered out was the treatment of crews filming streaming programs. The agreement heads off a strike that would have started today, shutting down film and TV production across the country. For the full story, click here…
