Summer is a great time to visit amusement parks, and it’s pretty apparent most folks agree on what are the best rides to go on once you get there.
- CBS News recently held a poll to discover America’s favorite amusement park rides, with roller coasters by far the favorite.
- 35% of those polled picked roller coasters as their top amusement park ride, followed by:
- Bumper cars (13%)
- Ferris Wheel (10%)
- Log ride (10%)
And speaking of roller coasters…
- Yesterday was actually National Roller Coaster Day, and in honor of the day USA Today readers voted for their favorite roller coasters in the U.S.
- Topping the list is Mako at SeaWorld Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
- The ride is Orlando’s tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster, reaching speeds of 73 miles an hour.
