Carjacker Calls Cops for Help After Running Out of Gas

A man from Georgia recently was arrested after stealing a car then calling the police for help when he ran out of gas. According to a story from the Athens Banner-Herald, the man was at a Planet Fitness gym when he approached a man in the parking lot for a ride home. The driver was nice enough to give the guy a ride…only for him to pull out a gun and demand he get out and give him the car. How rude. A few hours later, police received a call from a man needing assistance because he ran out of gas. When police got there, they found him hiding behind a mobile home for some reason. He had a gun on him, they ran his name and it turned out he was a felon…can’t have a gun if you are a felon!
